Financial Assistance
At Lincoln Surgical Hospital, we are proud of our mission to provide quality care to all patients regardless of their ability to pay. We believe no one should delay seeking medical care because they do not have insurance or are worried about their ability to pay for their care. We have Financial Assistance available which provides free or discounted services to eligible patients. Our Financial Assistance program requires you to complete an application and provide proof of income.
Who is Eligible?
Uninsured patients who do not qualify for government-sponsored insurance programs, patients with insurance who are unable to pay their remaining balance after insurance payment and whose balance due to Lincoln Surgical Hospital is $500.00 or more are eligible to apply for financial assistance. Cosmetic procedures not covered by insurance are not eligible for financial assistance.
How to Apply
We realize having surgery can be overwhelming for the patient and their family; therefore, we try to make the application process as easy as possible. You can speak with a Patient Financial Services Representative at (402) 484-9025 and request an application be mailed to you or come to our facility at 1710 S. 70th Street, Lincoln, NE 68506 and request an application from staff at our Admissions desk.

Financial Assistance Application
Our Patient Financial Services Department will process the application and determine the benefit level (if any) based on the current Federal Poverty Level Guidelines. There are four benefit levels (25%, 50%, 75% and 100% discount). The patient will be notified in writing of our decision.
