Patient Financial Services
Lincoln Surgical Hospital is committed to making top-quality surgical services accessible to Lincoln and the surrounding communities. Thank you for choosing Lincoln Surgical Hospital for your medical needs. This billing and financial information is being provided to assist you in understanding your upcoming medical procedure. It is your responsibility to understand your insurance coverage and benefits. Any questions you have regarding your insurance company's specific coverage are best directed to the insurance company itself or, if you are covered under a group policy through work, to your employer. In all cases, you--not your insurer--are ultimately responsible for all payment for hospital and medical services.
Shortly after your discharge, the hospital will bill your insurance company for all covered expenses, which include charges for your surgery, your room, medications and supplies, and inpatient ancillary services, such as x-rays, lab tests, physical therapy, etc.
You will receive a statement of your account regularly, which reflects all payments received from your insurance company, Medicare, Medicaid, and/or personal payments. Any balance remaining after your insurance pays is your responsibility.
